The Unifi Include Service, in collaboration with the Degree Program and the School of Mathematical, Physical and Natural Sciences, designs individualized support pathways for each student with disabilities and/or SLD. The service provides tools, accommodations, and assistive technologies that enable students to study and take exams effectively throughout their academic journey.
The service is available to any student with a disability and/or SLD.
However, in order to access specific services or educational accommodations, students must submit official certification of their disability and/or SLD, or other specialist documentation that attests to their condition. Students must also attend an introductory meeting with a staff member from the Service, during which their individual needs are assessed and appropriate measures and support strategies are identified.
Students enrolled in the Bachelor’s Degree Program in Materials Science who wish to receive further information may book an orientation and support meeting through the U-FIRST app, available on Google Play and the App Store, or by contacting the numbers and addresses listed on the Unifi Include webpage.
